Isa. 53: 4-7 was written between 739 and 681 B.C. and is included in the Jewish Torah (bible).
vs 4: “Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.
vs 5: “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities: the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
vs 6: “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
vs 7: “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
You are going to experience Gods wrath because you have sinned against Him! BUT God has provided a way for you to be saved from His wrath and have eternal life because of His love and grace. The bible is God’s word. He gave it to you to show you the way of salvation.
- “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12 (eternal death in hell fire).
2. “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. “Isaiah 59:2
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead. He paid the penalty for your sins so you can be forgiven of your sins by God and saved from His wrath so you can be with Him forever not suffering in hell.
3. “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5
4. “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” 1 Peter 3:18
5. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
You must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personally accepting Him into your heart and repenting of your sins. (repent means change your thinking).
6. Jesus said “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20
7. “Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12 8.
8. “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
This is what you must do to be saved:
- believe Jesus is Lord and Savior and shed His blood on the cross for you and He rose from the dead.
2. call upon His name, admit you are a sinner and confess your sins to God….no one else.
3. ask for His forgiveness.
4. through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and control your life through the Holy Spirit.
Pray to Christ Jesus: I know that I have sinned and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my soul and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and ask You to come into my heart and change me so I can trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior all the days of my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
